Interior insulation
Insulate external walls from the inside when the façade is to be preserved.
When is this the right solution?
Where external insulation is not possible – for example on listed or designed façades – the external wall is insulated from the inside.
The system of vapour-permeable insulation boards, connection pieces, adhesive and reinforcement improves thermal protection. For damp or salt-laden masonry, the appropriate restoration steps must be checked beforehand.
