When is this the right solution?
The plinth is exposed to splash water, snow and soil moisture. Without suitable waterproofing, plaster and masonry become saturated, leading to spalling and efflorescence.
A water-repellent plinth plaster is followed by a flexible waterproofing that connects to the waterproofing of the below-ground structures.
