External waterproofing – existing building
Expose damp basement walls of existing buildings from the outside, level them and waterproof them anew.
When is this the right solution?
In existing buildings, the original waterproofing has often aged or is missing altogether – moisture penetrates the basement wall from the outside.
After excavation, the substrate is levelled, primed and given a new surface waterproofing. If moisture is also rising in the masonry, a damp-proof course completes the build-up.
